***3 Months Over Due***

I feel absolutely awful that it has been 3 months since my last post, even though I have been back in the UK for a month! What can I say apart from life has most definitely been one HELL of a ride over the last couple of months. Where to start...

*SUMMER HOLIDAY*

I spent my summer holiday spread between South Africa, Mozambique and Mauritius. Being back 'home' in South Africa was great to see friends and family, not to mention the shopping and night life. One negative was having my Wisdom Teeth taken out, but hey, even that wasn't so bad!

Mozambique was... interesting. It was my second time there and even though it has beautiful beaches, I still cant seem to see everyone's fascination with the place.

Beautiful

Mauritius was a great relaxing 10 days in Paradise spent mostly on the beach. Nothing beats sleeping in late, suntanning and absolute relaxation.

So thats an extremely rough version of what I did over the Summer holiday. Although it was absolutely great, there was one thing that was CONSTANTLY on my mind no matter what...

... *UNIVERSITY*

The plan was that I was going to start my BA in Photography at Kingston University in September, but the reality is far from it. I always had this nagging feeling that photography was more of a hobby to me than a future career, and in the middle of June I realised that going to Kingston would be a HUGE mistake.

So instead I decided to withdraw my acceptance to Kingston to pursue a career as a teacher. Yes, a teacher.

As things turned out, it was not as easy as 1 2 3 to find a place this year at a half decent University for a totally different course. My options were limited and to ensure that I got into a top rated University in 2011, I decided to do some more A Levels in one year. Talk about taking a step back!

And this is where I have landed up...in Oxford! Not too bad I would say :) So thats a very basic overview of my life over the last 3 months and although it may not seem like much, it was one HELL of a ride. Hopefully I'll be finding the time to blog more often from now on.
